Honouring Visionary Leaders in Education Innovation
Established in 2024, The Jerry Wind Award celebrates the legacy of Professor Jerry (Yoram) Wind, Emeritus Professor at The Wharton School and Co-Founder of the Reimagine Education Awards and Conference. This prestigious accolade recognises trailblazers in education who have made significant and sustained contributions to transforming learning through innovative practices.
It honours those whose work reflects Jerry Wind’s lifelong commitment to reimagining educational paradigms, enhancing learning outcomes, and preparing learners for the challenges of the future.
The Honouree of The Jerry Wind Award will be announced at the QS Reimagine Education Gala Dinner held on the evening of 3 December 2025.
WHO QUALIFIES FOR THIS AWARD?
The Jerry Wind Award recognises individuals who might have:
- Pioneered new models of teaching, learning, or assessment, demonstrating measurable success.
- Driven impactful reforms that have improved educational access, equity, and inclusion.
- Demonstrated sustained success in scaling innovations across institutions or communities.
- Bridged academia, industry, and society, transforming how knowledge is created and shared.
- Mentored and inspired the next generation of educators and innovators.
Nominees should have a proven track record of driving long-term, transformative impact in education.
WHO CAN NOMINATE?
Self-nominations are welcome. You will need to include three recommendation letters from supporters in your application.
Peer nominations from colleagues, collaborators, or institutions are encouraged. The nomination itself will serve as the primary recommendation from the nominator, however the application will require recommendation letters from two additional supporters.

Yes, self-nominations are encouraged, provided you meet the award criteria.
No, submitting a nomination is completely free.
This award is designed for individuals; however, the impact they’ve created through organisations will be considered.
Nominations should include evidence of impact, such as publications, project reports, testimonials, or case studies.
A supporter should be a colleague, collaborator, or peer who has firsthand knowledge of the nominee’s work. They should be able to provide a detailed account of how the nominee’s contributions have been transformative and the impact they have made within the educational community.
The deadline for nominations is 15 September 2025.
This is an opportunity for the nominee to discuss what transformational change they have implemented throughout their career, and what receiving this award would mean to them.
